I'm on a G4 running Panther, and using iMovie, and my camera wont connect (new cam), I tried it in the "PC" mode, and in the Playback mode, and it the computer wont detect it with the firewire. Anybody know how to get it to work? (I tried all of the things under "connection help")

Is there a firewire IN/OUT setting on the GS65? Have you used firewire devices on your Mac before? How about swapping the cable out?

I've used to cameras (two Canon ZR's) and I've never had any problems with those. I'll check if there are some in/out options for the firewire hookup.

Also worth asking in the iMovie support forum on the Apple website (the folk there are pretty friendly on the whole!)
