I have a 23" HD cinema display and also a Sony LMD230WS monitor for my video editing. However, when I plugged in the Sony it refuses to let me view in full resoltution. I have a G5 2.5 dual processer. Funny thing is that when my freind brought his older version (1.7) it gave us full resolution accept for an inch on the bottom of the screen, but the image looked beautiful. I have tried everything, but all I get is a 4:3 ratio image, not full resolution image on my Sony. =(
When I try to set it for 1280/720 or 768 it just flickers/blinks and never goes to normal viewing.
Anyone PLEASE help. The sony manual gives me no assistence.
My goal is to use the Sony monitor for FCP's master manage window and my Apple monitor for the editing part.
