While waiting for my parts to arrive, I have time to design Mattebox. I wonder if what size/spec do you want if it's affordable? am going to make 1 size only, so give me some feedback and I will start working on it. I am talking about commercial quality here, not homemade parts. I can get them done in 3 months, thanks.

My wish:

15mm rods 60mm centre to centre.

adjustable lens to rods distance

different donut options [foam or neoprene]

2 x 4x4 filter stages - 1 rotatable

hot shoe / accessory slot on the top surface

top eyebrow & side wings

...think the love child of a Chrosziel and the Century optics boxes.....

I have a number of different lens diameters, 52mm, 62mm, & 72mm. One that would fit all these would be good.

And a "proper" bellows style mattebox, to acommodate for the best possible image with longer lenses like 105mm and 180mm lenses.

I'm not much of a fan of the fixed length matteboxes - and let's face it, bellows look cooler too!

I think bellows are a little fragile - the side wings are best to cut flare and shade the longer lenses.

Please add me to the list for mattebox. Also for the rod support. I'll be using it on a HVX200.
Thanks!
Jimi :)
