Hi,

I bought my XL1s KIT, BRAND NEW. Has camera body, lens, charger, mic, battery, shoulder strap, lens bag etc included.

I bought it in Andorra when on holiday (tax free country).

4100 Euros (about 4100 usd)

Did I get a good deal?

Thanks

Any price under the manufacturer's suggested retail price of $4700 USD should be considered a good price. Hope this helps,

I'm not sure where you are, but in the U.S. you can get the camera for $3,450 through B& H Photo. They are on the web. You might want to check them out. 100% reliable and ship anywhere, I think. (don't know about import taxes etc. - but that is a big price difference)

You could get it for €3800 in Sweden. (With tax)
That's the PAL version..

Are you saying that in the US the XL1s *KIT* is only $3,450?

$4100 is a fine price. Don't worry about how cheap you can get something. Sometimes it's worth more to get it right away when you need it.

Glenn - I misquoted. It is $3,589.95. Here is the link:

Prices of XL1S, like any commodity, vary by the market. Like Chris said, anything below MSRP is a good price and with that, I'm locking this thread.
