I keep reading about people with 35mm adapters using LCD monitors to flip the image, and also stating they are pretty inexpensive, some saying from $50 to $200.

***WHERE DID YOU FIND THESE PRICES?***

And how do they work? Component out?

I have an FX1

Thanks!

I've got the same question. I don't even know what term on ebay to search to find them.

Why bother with Ebay. Try http://www.ikancorp.com/products_monitors.htm

An idea I have for shooting, but first.

On the DVXuser website, under diy forum, I saw a 35mm adapter and the guy simply used a mirror attached to the lcd to flip it back correctly for viewing. Tilt the monitor and look at the mirror to view it corrected.

As I can't afford to buy a portable HD monitor for the type of recording that I'm doing, just for family stuff and some work for a TV station that I do as a volunteer, I was thinking about the portable DVD players. You can get a 10 in portable dvd player for well under $200 dollars. It has a AV out and in on the system. Use a audio to RGA plug or Audio to audio plug and you should be able to use it as a larger viewing monitor for recording...

Why? Because it's just too much of a hassle to lug around your big screen hdtv set with you. :)

Will the latest patch allow you to flip the picture?
