I got a call from a HUGE walnut wholesaler in our area who explained that they just started wholesaling walnuts in Korea and was working in conjunction with some folks there to put together an infomercial for Korean TV and all I would have to do is some stock footage of the processing plant and ship the raws to Korea where they'll edit the whole thing up. The problem is that they want the whole thing in Betacam. I don't have one and need to get a rental before shooting starts on Monday 3-13 or I'll end up losing the job. Can someone show me a good site for renting a Betacam?

I can't do that but if you had to you might shoot in another format and have it converted to Beta-of course it depends on which Beta format you need. For the most part I end up converting to BetaSP, but you might need something else.
Just a thought

Yeah, you could consider shooting it on a good quality minidv or whatever you have, and then check local media houses or even community media centers or cable access stations. You might be able to rent a room for an hour and run the conversion youself.
