I was blessed enough to encounter these American Bald eagles nesting in downtown Punta Gorda. As a nest in such an urban area is quite rare, the local media was all over this. They could not get a picture of the eagles in their nest, thus proving that they were in fact here to stay... so I submitted some stills from the footage shot with my xl2. They made front page! Better yet, they actualy sorta held up when printed (forgive the crappy jpeg compression and stifling chromatic aberration).

This was a few days ago, and I thought I should share them here, as you all have helped me so much.
