Hello,

I am experiencing a problem (actually not being able to do it at all) when I try to record my m2t files created with PPro 2 and using HDLink to move the file to the deck (I am using the CU-VH1 "spooler"). No issues to capture/conversion from tape to the PC, but not successful during the last part of my workflow (transfer m2t to tape). Any suggestion or known issue at this point?

Thanks,

Luis Otero

Those JVC CU-VH1s can be flakey. What HDV format are you tried to send to it, and does it work directly to the camera? I know it would better to go to the deck, just trying to narrow things down.

Hello David,

I have not tried to export to the camera...that is my homework. However, this was not an issue at all with the previous version (3.4) with the spooler. That way I do not put too much hours on the camera drums...

Actually, the error message reads as follows:
"Error: m_archiveGraph.Devise_Record() (0x80070047 - No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept.) in (C:\Brisco\Apps\Capture\CFCaptureDlg.cpp at 1947)" . I cannot make heads or tails out of this since I am just trying to transfer m2t material back to tape from my PC.

I just openned a ticket (611-2100017) to see if this can be sorted out ASAP.

Thanks,

Luis

That error translates to the deck is rejecting the record signal (is the tape write protected?) Also try a power cycle on the deck.

I feel so dumm...it was write protected. No doubt...I am too worned out...

Maybe we should wrap that failure with a friendlier message. e.g. "Is your tape write protected?" :)

Great suggestion. Without a doubt, a more user friendly phrase that the long technical error message!

Thanks,

Luis

Already done ready for the next build. (sorry, no idea when, with NAB coming up this is a crazy time.)
