I have a client that needs to prove he is alive :)
ok the guy moved out of his country a while ago and now the government is not paying for his retirement and is confescating his stuff unless he can show them in a live video conference that he is alive and well.

how can i do this for him>?
i know people are using webcams so easily today but i havent messed around with it at all. what does it require how are we going to send and receive signals?

You could just use MSN. I use it all the time to speak (and see) with clients and friends in the UK or US. Iam based in Zimbabwe (Video / Photographic Safaries) and only have a dialup connection and it works fine, with a slight delay... Hope this helps

All you need to do is sign up for a free MSN Messenger account (http://join.msn.com/messenger/overview/). Then, if you have a Web cam, you can use it along with MSN Messenger to send live video to any other person of your choosing who also has a MSN account.
