Circuit City 8GB car, $426 wonder if it works in this camera?

Still no stock in stores of camera yet. I did get an email saying they had it, but store showed no stock. Order online and wait only.

It's a CF card, not an SD card.

Sanyo have said that the HD1 will support the next generation of SD cards. I don't remember what they're called, but the standard is about to undergo a revolution of some kind and Sanyo, when talking about the HD1, said it will be compatible. The new cards will exceed 4GBs..

Amazon has what? 8GB SD cards for our cameras, or the 8GB CF cards? To my knowledge, 8GB SD cards don't exist yet. Ebay is usually the first place to have listings for new high capacity cards, but nothing currently shows.

You're right. This is a CF card, NOT designed for the HD1. And CF card capacities have always been months ahead of SD memory capacities.

Thought that might create some confusion. They have the camera (in response to Gary's comment).
