Hey guys, I see HD terminology such as 4:4:4, and 4:2:2 bandied about here, and I can't help but wonder; What does that mean? Seriously, I come from a film editing background, so I'm a little rusty on some HDV terminology. If anyone could throw me a link to an essay or a techinical paper that could fill in some gaps, I would appreciate it.
