We just received our second HD100 yesterday and I was curious if anyone else has picked up a new model. The box has HD100 and (A) off to the side, but the serial number on the bottom of the camera doesn't have an "A" after it.
I thought all new models and upgrades were now classified with an "A" after the serial number.

It's not an A after the serial number, it's a tiny black circular sticker with an A on it that might be anywhere in the vicinity of the SN plaque.

Nate, you JVC wonk...I found it back near the shoulder pad. I had no doubt it was and "A", it has all the new features, I just didn't see the sticker on the camera.
I really love this camera, and if I wasn't waiting to see what JVC announces at NAB, I'd get a few more <g>.
