I put up a site with a wild flash into for my photography portfolio and decided the flash took away something from the photography. I'm trying this new site which I cut the flash way back hopeing to make the photographs the hero. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Much nicer Michael than the previous version. You highlight your photographs well.

Slideshow took about 8 seconds to load from my T1 connection. Maybe you should have a one line note to wait for the slideshow.

Good decision to go with autoplay as the flash slideshow as the Flash won't do anything without a user click otherwise.

The menu words at the bottom don't line up.

I think you need a more overt call to action. Actual words telling the user to contact you to arrange a quote or however you want to get to know the prospective client. I also expected the slideshow to end after four or five pics to a call to action. Instead, it seems to go on forever.

I read your About page and I think you need to rework that. I think what needs to be up front is what you do and your services. Then you can follow that with what legitimizes you such as certification or your long experience. I definitely would not include anything about your custom concrete work. That is a separate business and only confuses the customer. It also makes them wonder if you are serious about your photography. Also ask yourself what chance it is that someone would come to your site wanting both photography and custom concrete.
