The eyepiece of my XL2 slowly drops to an impossible angle while filming.
Is there a tightening adjustment for this equipment?

I look forward to your thoughts.

Many thanks

This has been an issue with the XL2 viewfinder. I take it your camera is fairly new? That's typically the cause. It's like they 'overlube' it from the factory and as it breaks-in, it tends to get a bit tighter and holds its position better. Try rotating it by hand for an extended period and see if it doesn't tighten up a bit.

Unfortunately, there is no friction adjustment for this.

Thanks Greg.
The XL2 is pretty new and the sinking of the eyepiece is very frustrating, and was the cause of the loss of a unrepeatable shot today... I've long hankered after an FU-1000 and this has been the final push so the order has gone in this evening. The long wished for crisp focus should now be with my grasp - at least I'll not be able to blame the viewfinder anymore :-)

Cheers

You're going to love the FU-1000. As soon as possible, grab a manual lens to go with it and you'll be in focus heaven.
