Aloha,
Is there any software that will take .m2t files, demux them and wrap them in quicktime so they can be used in FCP? I know there is a lot of software that can render the m2t files to Quicktime, but I am wondering if there is anything that just puts the Quicktime wrapper on the files. It is my understanding that FCP captures HDV and just put is in a Quicktime wrapper without altering the data. Citidisk and FireStore are both working to make this happen in realtime. Seems like Lumiere or MpegStreamClip could do the same thing in.
I am looking for a way to use HD100 720p24 footage in FCP without rendering to another codec.
