We have been using a wireless transmitter from Sharper Image which works but gets a lot of interference.

Does anyone use a more professional one that doesnt suffer too muchfrom interference and doesnt need a second mortgage ?

thanks for any pointers

the only solution that really works is digital transmission.
it is like a wi-fi communication, so it can transmit video safely, using digital packets.
sony has something in this range, but i am not sure for the 2nd mortgage.

Check out the link below. It's the Laird Wave Shot video/audio transmitter- receiver system.

one thing i forgot to mention is this is not for recording but for simple monitoring. The quality should be ok but doesnt have to be stellar

The transmitter we used was almost ok but for my taste had a little too much interference.

I was wondering if any of the other available transmitters would be any better

Did you actuallyuse the Laird transmitter ? It is analog as well and transmits on regular TV channels. Not sure how well that would work

thanks

I use the Laird to monitor, but interference comes in every now and then. I have a back-up, it's intended for security and runs on the 2.4ghz system, and that works also. It's not pretty, but works. When in doubt, rin the cable.
