Hi guys,

I own a DV5000 + fujinon lens 1/2" + Zoom Remote SRD91.

Now I purchased a YH Canon Lens and want to use the zoom remote for this as well.

I recently read about conversion cables (since the pinout of Fujinon vs Canon differs) - but they call 100$ and more...

Thought of changing this myself (I guess I won´t use the fujinon so much any more, so I even could change it in the remote as well) or build my "own" conversion cable.

BUT : Does anyone know about the pinouts of both systems?

Hi Uli, actually it is an 8-pin configuration.

I have seen controllers that are switchable between Canon and Fujinon. Also, the cost of the conversion cable is a small price to pay, compared to the lens, the camera, the controller etc.
