People, if you are going to shoot 'violence', make sure you are doing it on your own private property, and/or let the local constabulary know what you are about.

Even if you are on your private land, let the authorities know. Nosy neighbors could cause problems too.

This is why you are suppossed to go through the proper channels when doing something like this. They could have easily avoided this by getting permission from the park and the rangers.

Law Enforcement is trained to have everyones safety, yours and theirs, in mind when they arrive on any scene. But just remember there is two sides to every story.

Those guys are idiots. I get really annoyed with people like that. They're eventually going to provoke some knee-jerk law that will make it more difficult for all of us.

Marco, my reaction exactly. I don't see them as "film makers". They're just kids fooling around with a camera. Anyone serious about their craft would have gotten release/permission forms for that kind of situation.

I love the last line of the article where they are considering having the whole crew show up in court to say, "We were just making a movie."

What they should say is, "We're a bunch of morons, please fine us the maximum amount allowed by law."
