I realise this LCD monitor has been discussed before on this board but I was wondering if anyone who has had it for a while now would care to comment on its performance in use. It looks very interesting.

Can anyone comment on how it performs in daylight? Does it have underscan or 'truescan'? What I'm getting at is - can I see the entire picture? Have you found it to be useful for reviewing and evaluating footage in the field?

Does anyone in the UK happen to know where to get this monitor without paying double the US price?

I could have sworn there were people on here who bought this monitor! Anyone?

Hey Anthony, let me tell ya. This is the best monitor worth buying, for the price and for the quality. It's totally reliable in daylight or any situation for that matter. It's great for focus, framing, color reference, and for reviewing and evaluating footage 'cause what you see is what you get. And yes you do see the whole picture. I've had it for while now and I have no complaints. I use it with my hd100u camera, outputing component video. I totally recommend it.

Well that's certainly a recommendation! Thanks very much. My guess is that it's going to be cheaper to fly over to New York from London to buy it than getting it over here... I need some other gear as well, so it could be a trip to B&H for me.
