Hello all, Ive been away from the forum for a little while. Was wondering if any GS400 users have reached a consensus of which adaptor is best for that particular camcorder. Thanks.

Steve, because the GS400 has a 1.6" close focus distance, you should be able to use most adapters without an achromat. The chassis and lense bezel is plastic (and easily flex), so a rails setup is highly recommended. Most of the sample clips from my site are done with the GS400 in 16:9 procinema mode. With its HQ 16:9 procinema mode, close focus, and external manual controls, the GS400 is an ideal "adapter" camera. Because the camera is not great with respect to low light, you may want to consider light loss as a major criteria in purchasing. I've seen great footage from the GS400 on an M2, Letus, and of course the Brevis.
