Any1 know if the mni35 can work with the DVX? If it can work with the PD150 I assume its possible to make it work with the DVX. Anyone??

the current setup for pd150 type camera's calls for 58mm lens front ... they would have to design a new 72mm adaptor ..
the pd150 lens type set up has serious limits/disadvantages when compared to the Xl 1 type set up ...

Here's an interesting thread where some greeks made their own adaptor for a vx2000.

Could be interesting for you to try it, if you can live with the grain.

Emery the P&S people are working on it. They originally told me that the adapter will be out in late January (this was Oct. last year), but because of the 24P factor it is taking them a bit longer. I think you will lose one stop when using the adapter. If you are trying to get a shallow depth of field, try zooming in just a little. This should work well with close-ups and medium shots.

well thats great to hear they are working on a solution for the DVX... can anyone comment on the "serious limits/disadvantages " when using the adapter on the exsisting lense?? Does any1 think you are better off without it?

And yes Ernest, Ive done everything possible to get the shalllowest DOF possible with this camera but its just not happening.
