Very early prototype, I just want to get some feedback on the footage, talking of which, it's h264 with FCP's 3 way color correction.
it's a vibrating gg situated 35mm in front of the camera lens. The gg is a condenser/focusing screen combo from an old canon reflex (currently it has the micro prism so there's a circle in the middle, but that'll be solved with a nikon d red dot screen that's on it's way to me).
No image flip.
Vibration done by 2 cellphone vibs fed on 2 AA batteries. Spring mounted. Foam used to avoid z axis mov.
Total Length from lens mount to lens mount 75mm aprx.
Right now it has a cheap olympus 50/1.8f lens, but i intend to outfit it with the leica M noctilux and more of the line.
It's a small, simple and portable design. I used the lens shade/cap of the cam for this prototype's mount to the camera (but I'll make a stronger one for the final version), all other piedes cut out of a PVC sheet. I hope to get some custom black ABS injection molded parts for it to match the Sony look. I'll post better pictures and more adequate footage when I get the nikon screen.
thanks!
Note: The vibrator is initially off and turned on by the first third of the video
