I have a FS100, and have just imported all my footage.
I tried playing if off of a 24p timeline, which didn't work because the clips are in 59.97fps. i shot it in 24p, so why is it in 59.97?

When i try to remove the pulldown, it errors out on me in cinema tools.

help, i have no idea what is up. please.

Michael,

The clips are actually 29.97 in a 60p wrapper.
Try importing them into a 30p sequence.

If you need a 23.976 file to edit in 24p....
Take a clip into Cinema Tools and do a reverse Tele-Cine
save a new smaller file. Then try that clip in a 24p sequence.

ah, cool mike. thanks.

i had the HVX set to 24p, so did i need to set the firestore to capture 24p as well? or will it just record whatever i throw at it?

man i am a noob all of a sudden.

I think the firestore will only record at 29.97, check the manual.
Look at the HVX manual, it talks about firewire out recording and the frame rate. Good Luck

59.94...not 29.97. The firestore cannot capture 24PN...native 24. It can only capture 24p over 60...which means 720p60 but with a 24p "look."

DVCPRO HD base is 59.94, not 29.97.
