has anyone tried the firestore 3 with the v mount on the hd 100? Or is it even possible? I like the idea of being able to use the camera battery for the power.

Of course, the FS-3 would only be able to interface with the HD100 in DV mode. I doubt Focus has any plans to create a HDV update for the FS-3 - but I could be wrong. We edit in Premiere Pro 2 with Cineform Aspect HD. What are my options for purchase today? David Kidd August 22nd, 2006, 05:41 PM I am looking at the DR HD100 Daniel Patton August 22nd, 2006, 05:46 PM David, From what I have read on this forum... finding one in stock may be an issue. I'll pass on the Ebay route. Carl Hicks August 22nd, 2006, 09:49 PM David, From what I have read on this forum... finding one in stock may be an issue. I'll pass on the Ebay route. A large number of DR-HD100 units were received recently in the U.S. from the factory, so the oldest back-orders have now been filled. JVC still has a few back-orders left to fill, but these are more recent orders. Regards, Carl Patrick Mongoven August 28th, 2006, 08:20 PM Has anyone used the HD100 with an FS4? Just the plain old FS4. Will it record HDV as well as DV? Does it work with FCP5? |
