I'm working on a press release for a local group of filmmakers called Upstate independents. With more than 150 members, and having been formed in 1995, it has been suggested that it is one of the largest and oldest groups of its kind in the Northeast (depending on how you define it, I guess). I'm trying to verify that though. Can anyone think of other groups in the Northeast. Is there another organization that might keep tabs on these things which could be a resource for me?

Was it one of your group that did a doc on Santa?

I wish I did. Somebody from up your way did the story of St Nicholas, somebody here posted a link to the trailer, and I forgot the names. It was really well done from what I saw though.
