So I realised that there is a lot of HVX and H1 footage on this forum. So without further ado, to bring a little balance here, I present to you all a little (i mean little - as in small - 10mb limit!!) video I shot for a kids fun day.

I was shot in 720p25 using the Matrix recipe by Tim Dashwood. I edited and coloured it in FCP 4.5. All hand held and shot in about 30 minutes using available light. We had great fun and got some bemused looks in the restaurant we used for the location!

Don't worry, I didn't actually burn my iPod.

I realise it aint exactly of hollywood standard...

I'm working on some serious shorts soon.

Just in case you are having problems, you'll need firefox or safari to view, as MSoft IE won't play with the other kids in the park.

The site is created in iWeb. Aparently IE doesn't like iWeb sites.

You'll also need QT 7. File size approx 8.6mb

thanks

Very cool. I wanted to use those settings on my last shoot, but I will sometime in the future. It looks nice.

Shai - it looks great! I am always amazed at how well this camera performs on street locations. Everything I've seen that was shot out of the U.S. looks "bigger", like a big film production. I wonder if this is the new "IT" documentary camera....

Well done.

Aparently IE doesn't like iWeb sites.

IE is sorely lacking support for web standards.

I like this piece. It's the type of work I like to get.

Very nice looking video, well done. You can almost see the "look" of the HD100, the camera has (without a doubt) a look to it.

Who ever posted the Flash video might want to check the setting for the encoder to Flash or maybe the player setting itself, I notice some minor ripping in the edges on everything in the video. This is a common issue when working with Flash if the scale for the player is not the exact same as the video and the ratio gets a little off. Or, this can happen when you scale the Flash encoded video down in the player instead of encoding it to that reduced size in the Flash encoder. Double check those settings. :)

Not picking at it, just trying to help you ensure the Flash video looks it's best!
