time passing, the traveler enters the forrest, cross fades to pine needles/trees and black void in the background - at that moment, i thought, it was possible that a good amount of time had passed and it became night. It also takes a good amount of the screen realty, put something there and use your cinematography and post production skills to make it look great!

Marlon, this is well done. The lighting, the sound, the dialogue, tone, acting....all great stuff. I didn't necessarily resonate with the actual story, but I don't particularly like this genre. Just wanted to say it looks and sounds great. Impressive.

WOW! Great clip! Is this a full length feature?
What kind of budget/crew are you working with?

The film looks amazing, great sound, nice shots, excellent lighting, and an interesting story.

When will it be finished?

Mike

thanks for the feedback...no budget really, spent 80 bux on the costume i guess...all the equipment i bought from my previous student film...does that count too? :) it should be done in a month! as for the crew... we never had more than 4 people at a time... the actors would sometimes fill in as crew....very basic, actors, me, and a sound recorder

Very nice, how did you do the flies on the creepy corpse?

Will it be a feature or a short? Great sound recording BTW.

Well, while I'm a majoring in cinema, i also have a minor in animation...so i have soem background in 2d and 3d animation...these flies were animated in after effects. they are just very tiny black photoshop dots, but the animation sells it i guess. the final movie will be around 30 - 35 minutes

I used a Canon XL2 with stock 20x lens.

Very nice! My only crit is the devils exposition about the status of human kind. Much better to use a visual to convey that IMHO :)

I liked the start a lot with the skull and effects but then the pace slowed down quite a bit and the overly light-blueish night 4 day thingy didn't really work for me.

I wish we had more info on what was going on..
