I was wondering if anyone knew if the P2 Store unit is being sold by anyone yet. If not, any idea when it will be available ?

Yes, it is being sold. I bought one back in May with my HVX.
B&H has it (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=413447&is=REG&addedTroughType=search)

Hello Mark,

The P2 Store is in fact released and we have them in-stock. If you have any other questions about the P2 Store, I would be more than happy to help.

Thanks everyone. Andrew - I anticipate ordering the HVX-200, a P2 store and a couple of P2 cards in the next six weeks. I'll be in touch with your company for a quote when the time comes. Mark

Before you jump on that P2 store, you may want to do some more research and reading here and over at dvxuser.com. IMO, the P2 store is a complete turd and not worth the money or the effort to use it. A lot of others feel the same way.

Jeff - Thanks for the warning. I will do some more reading first. I hadn't heard any adverse comments about the P2 Store Regards, Mark

Jeff--Why do you think the P2Store is a turd? I have one and love it. The only thing I think sucks is that the HD is too small. It would really kick ass if you could swap out ruggedized HD's. For field work I think it is the best solution, especially if you're dealing with a limited crew and don't want to carry around a laptop to download to. Is there a better method out there that I am missing?
