Hi all,

I'm in need of a little assistance.

Shot a short film on the HVX200 - 720p DVC Pro 50 HD. Film is 26 Minutes long.

Need to make a standard Def DVD of the film for festival submissions.

Now, trying to get the best results with compressor through trial and error could take forever, so I thought I'd try and expidite the process by asking you guys if you could recomend some decent compressor settings (or giving a link to your project file, even better!) So I could speed things up.

Anyone able to help gets a "Special Thanks" credit in the film.

Thanks!

I just use the "DVD 90min 16x9 Highest Quality 2-pass" preset. This will create a letterbox effect and keep the bitstream at a 6.95Mbps average rate.

The quality is fine and it allows for plenty of time on a single layer DVD.

Thanks Scott. I thought it was a little more complicated but if it works for you, I'll roll with it.
