Hi Guys,
I'm buying a hvx200 soon. I'm looking for a solution. Iwanna be able to carry a tripod as carry on in the plane(in my carryon suitcase with the cam. I was thinking on getting a manfrotto 501 for the head.

I just need some small but strong tripod. I would just detach the head each time i need to carry it in my luggage again.

The only one i found thats short enough is the Gitzo Sport Tatalux, G1126.
Any one got any advice ,idea or suggestion?
