Hey guys,

Anyone know of any way to save and transfer titles from one project to another in Premeire 2.0? I'm looking for some title consistency between projects of the same show. I would like to be able to make new titles based on past ones without having to write down all of the info about my text, colors, shading opacities, etc. for consistency.

I read that Adobe incorporated title files into the saved project files to consolidate file numbers for backup. I really don't see how this helps when uncompressed .avi video workspaces are well over 100 gigabytes for anything 8-bits and above SD.

Anyone have any techniques or ideas for accomplishing title transfers?
Thanks

I am not near my editing machine right now, so I can't tell you exaclty how, but you can save the title and it will show up in your project folder as a separate file. You can then copy or move it to another project and import it.

In older versions of Premiere I was able to save my titles that were created as seperate file just by going to "File-Save As". However in Premiere 2.0 whenever I go to "Save As", I'm only able to save my Project.

I've been through all the settings. Is there something that I'm overlooking?

1. Select the title or tiltles you want to save.
2. Select 'File' then 'Export' then 'Title'
3. Select name and location to save titles.
4. These are then available to import into another project.

I kinda figured it would be something that easy. Thanks a bunch!
