This is a video shot with my HDR-HC3 with a reversed 50 1.8. The DOF is razor thin and the working distance was about 1.5 inches. Shot of my set up

Joey,
I am interested in your macro set up but can't seem to download any footage. Can you email me a wmv clip to my personal address?

Dale,I guess that site used up all the free downloads allready. I dont think I could email you an HD clip except for a few seconds. I have macro videos on youtube that will let you get the idea. until I figure out getting a webpage to host my videos.
This one has ants, jumping spiders and wasps, unfortunatly due to the working distance it was almost all hand held.

I also tried out a new macro set up yesterday that worked awesome . I made a wood bracket to hold my HDR-HC3 and my Sigma 180 Macro which gave me about 8 inches of working distance. I just need to figure out how to make a tripod mount. I will try to edit the video I shot with the new set up soon too.
