I don't know if this is anywhere on this site, if so, my apologies, but in looking for a manual or some sort of specific specs I found this spec sheet that may help from an online vendor.. thought you guys might want it, if it has not been posted before.

Connectivity 2 XLR (line/mic level) inputs with phantom power (+48V)
BNC Video
Component Video
S-Video
Composite Video
IEEE1394
Mic terminal(3.5mm)
Headphone terminal(3.5mm)
LANC terminal
I had not realised that XH-A1 has XLR and mini-jack mic sockets. Best of both worlds!? Presumably plugging a mic into one disables the other?
Also, can anyone confirm yet whether the composite-video and/or S-Video socket allows analogue input to tape and/or pass-through to a computer?
Thanks in advance.

anyone notice the amazing SD 4:3 resolution on the spec sheet? 1080x1080 :-)
clearly wasn't proof-read well

No proof-reading error; just an interpretation error. That's not an image resolution claim. It is in the sensor section of the spec sheet and represents the number of pixels actually used in the area of each CCD that generates each type of image. In other words, the various outputs don't all necessarily use the entire CCD surface so they tell you how many sensor pixels get used.
