i have loaded 3hrs of tape into fce1 and someof it (20mins 0 seems to be all kind of quickened up and charlie chaplin like, what is wrong?

Sounds like your drive is either getting full or has become very fragmented. Unfortunately if you are recording to the system drive there's not much you can do easily. If you have an external FireWire drive you might try capturing to that. |
