Which should you get first, the JVC HD cam or the HD ready TV? Can you shoot HD and play it back on a regular TV? Just curious.

Frank Granovski March 27th, 2003, 05:50 PM Thanks! His website is always down, though, so I haven't been able to snoop around there. Peter Moore March 27th, 2003, 08:20 PM I know that you can always downconvert your HD footage to SD with the video editing software. But who knows how good that looks? Personally I'd get the HDTV monitor first - you'll be glad you did especially when you watch some DVDs! Frank Granovski March 27th, 2003, 09:00 PM Yeah, I've been thinking about it. But prices still seem somewhat high. Steve Mullen March 27th, 2003, 09:38 PM <<<-- Originally posted by Frank Granovski : Thanks! So I guess you haven't really tried very hard to learn something for almost a month. You can buy HDTV's for $1,500. Frank Granovski March 27th, 2003, 09:52 PM Actually, I've tried to get into your site several times, but each time your site had exceeded it's traffic. Re: So I guess you haven't really tried very hard to learn something for almost a month. Actually, I learned something even today: the new Optura 20 has no lanc controller - Canon took it away! (among other things). :D Frank Granovski March 27th, 2003, 11:55 PM Okay, I got in! Nice JVC HD page!
