Hello,

Is it possible to use a Sennheiser EW100 system with a XL2 ?

Here is the system :

The problem is the EW100 has a classical minijack and my XL2 uses 2 XLR (plus the two jacks connection for the provided front mic)

Yes it is. Just get an 1/8 inch to XLR adapter. Thats what we do where I work and it works just fine.

Obviousely... I was stupid..

Thanks a lot, of course a 1/8->XLR is the obvious solution... I'm so used to my XLR microphones that I didn't even realize that :-)

Hi Luc,

Based on some flack in another forum about the quality of certain transceivers, I recently decided to conduct some online tests of some of my Sennheiser EW100s. The tests use various microphone, distances, frequencies, and diversity/non-diversity antenna configurations. In all cases, I used the 1/8 inch male to XLR male that comes with most Sennheisers these days. If you're interested in listening to the test results, see:
