Has anyone set up a bare HVX + battery on the FlowPod successfully? I was at a mates place and he owns one with the vest and I tried for a couple of hours to balance the HVX with no success. He had three black add on weights that I attached as low on the bottom of the shaft as possible but it still seemed top heavy. Any advice.

More weights. You have to be able to keep the camera on top before you can balance it.
