LG to sell HD DVD/Blu-ray combo player

(This does not seem to correspond with current information about the legalities of combining both formats on the one player, ie sony = not happy)

LG's on the right track. In the age of multiformat hardware, it makes sense. This may come down to price wars on the media itself, with the customer comming out as winners. Thanks for the link.

Andy Parsons, the spokesman for blu-ray has stated time and again that
there is no restriction in licensing that would prevent blu-ray and hd-dvd combo players.
