I guess there is a UK Film Council that has links to help you scout locations.

Depends where you are in the UK, if you're lucky, most regions will have Location databases in industry development agencies like this one. This is the North West Vision website....

I live in Liverpool, and this is a great source for all sorts of locations. I'm sure there will be links to other regional agencies. If not, there's always google earth!
