Speaking at Macworld Expo today, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that Apple is dropping the word “Computer” from its name to become “Apple Inc.”

Probably has to do with their venture into telecommunications now, with the iPhone.

Figured... : ) I think they ought to have Apple Cellular though, and just buy the best airtime from any provider who's area of influence a subscriber lives or commutes through. WiFi Edge is available from Cingular and T-mobile.
