Hi Everyone,
I don't know if I should be posting this topic here or under XHA1. I use XHA1 and I just downloaded a clip into Vegas and I hear several popping sounds.
I tried different clips and they are all have popping sounds.
I connected the Camera to My TV and there is NO popping sound.
I am puzzeled as what I am not doing or what should be doing?
Please advise me. The camera is brand new.

I never had this problem with my consumer JVC camcorder.

Admin edite: replaced "poping" with "popping."

"Popping" is a pretty broad category of problems. Is there any way you can post a sample of the sound? Pops (Popes? Nah, I shouldn't go there) can be indicative of all kinds of different things. There's no way for us to tell what the sound you're hearing is without hearing it ourselves--unless you can describe it in a little more detail, maybe.

I've noticed only once that Vegas can make a popping sound that is not there.

I had a music file that had a pop. I played the file out of vegas and the pop was not there.

Is the pop there in the file when it is not played in vegas?

This is a symptom of your computer. Lower the master volume on your PC and hopefully there will be no popping sounds.

Hey Mathew. I just posted similar question above before I saw your question.
I am haveing the same problem.

Zack, I tried lowering the master volume on my pc and I dont think thats the problem. I can actually see the offending noises in the audio time line line. SOmething is causing them to be embedded in the audio after rendering.

Any Ideas?
