Here's a little experiment I did with some HDV in Final Cut Pro. I was mainly interested in testing it with some time remapping and compositing/titling. Pretty satisfying results, in my opinion.
Side notes - today I got Douglas Spotted Eagle's 'HDV:What you NEED to know' book and so far I am very impressed. Dense with great info for HDV shooting. I also just recieved the Schneider optics wide angle lens converter and was playing around with that this morning. Very very sharp results - i'm looking forward to diving in to some creative projects with that.
