I dont know if this has been covered before, but i couldnt see a thread about it.
Just got off the phone to JVC (uk), and my hd-gy101 is now booked in for a firmware and, as they call it 'small hardware upgrade', under warrenty, which they say will solve any capture problems when using with final cut pro.
I am most pleased!
If anyone else calls them up for the upgrade, id call direct to jvc not go through your dealer, and make sure you tell them if you use FCP
