Get an eSATA card and your performance is way, way better than with fire wire or USB2. Brian Duane Burleson January 29th, 2007, 05:47 PM Brian, I'm not sure there are pccard (pcmcia) eSATA adapters, but there are expresscard eSATA adapters. Most new laptops being sold now have expresscard slots. Also, check the specs on any laptop you're looking at, get one that has an SATA drive as its main drive if you can. Man, this Sandisk 32GB solid state drive probably kicks total butt with a SATA interface. Why don't they make their first $600 drive with an interface compatible with today's high end laptops ?
