Hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone heard any new news on this or saw a prototype at NAB. Recently varizoom announced that they were coming out with the new vz-rock controller which mirrors the zoe controller very closely. Today I was on B&H's site and they now list the DVX VZROCK coming out soon. Here's a link. If anyone knows anything concerning release dates or anything at all concerninig this, it would be very helpful. It is this and the remote focus that will make a total happy camper with the dvx.

I took a close look at the new "VZ Rock" at NAB and it's very nice. Also saw the prototype remote focus control; very interesting. There'll be more info on our main site in the days to come. Hope this helps,

Did they give a projected list price for the focus control? Or is it just too early to tell? Is it anything like the focus controller they make for the XL1 manual lens, or is it exactly like the focus controller they make for the XL1 manual lens? I'm just figuring if it's mechanical, it's probably the only way to do it.....

No pricing just yet, it is electro-mechanical, and different from their XL1 focus control.
