Hi everybody,
I have gotten an oppurtunity to buy a used Jimmy Jib 3 from a dealer here in Sweden where I live. Its an extreme-crane(the longest) with all accessories there is but a dutchroll, the price for all this would be 11.000$. The condition is good....

For all I know, its kind of hard to get a hold of a jib like this, am I right?

Now i wonder what you guys think, is it totally wrong to but a JJ3 today since the triangle is "standard"?
I havent actually used a JJ3 myself, just Lite and Triangle -do you think ill be disappointed of the crane?
How about the price, is it to high?(Note that the new price in Sweden is higher than in the US because of shipping etc. New price here is about 25000$ for a fully equipped Extreme Triangle today...)

I don't know if that's good deal, but I would also look into some of the other cranes out there. Cammate Systems comes to mind (well, it's what we have). We test drove the Jimmy Jibs, and while they served their purpose just fine, The overall ease of use, setup, adjustment and scalibility of the cammate was better for us.

Can you work it and make money off it from rental on your jobs? Will it pay for itself in a reasonable amount of time?
