what is the best way of exporting HDV edited footage out of fcp ??? to use in dvd studio pro???

Hi Tristan,

Welcome to DVInfo.
My workflow is as follows.

1. Export a Final Cut Movie by going to File>Export>QuickTime Movie
2. Choose "Make Movie Self Contained"
3. Choose "All Compression Markers"
4. Bring the exported movie into DVDSP
5. Choose "90 minute Best Quality 16:9"
6. Use the Dolby Audio and MPEG2 selections
7. After the encoding is done, bring those files into DVDSP and author your DVD
