You'll find the Blue is the weakest.

Did you watch the movie?

I edited some stuff recently with very strong coloured lighting on an HD101 - a shot reverse shot with one person lit bright red and the other lit bright green (don't ask) and I had the worst results with the red lighting in terms of blockiness - however I think overexposure may have been an issue as well

ok, just watched the movie, sorry hadn't realised it was there before even though you pointed it out. it was interesting and it helped but now i'm wondering if that means the red and green is fine on the 100 and only the blue is not good, and what that means exactly, i mean does that mean that if i shoot a blue sky its going to look more noisy, for example???

As with most video cameras, you have to watch the reds for over exposure which will cause blooming in your reds. This is why I'd always had trouble with Paolo's True color files. They are nice but they don't take into account the reds prevalence to overexposure in alot of situations. Be cognizant of that. If you want to chromakey, I'd recommend using the green channel.
