Thanks Duke Tim Dashwood March 15th, 2007, 02:14 AM Yep... The only thing left to support is 720P50 or 720P60 encapsulation to Quicktime. FCP can't do it yet either, so I'd bet Focus is waiting on Apple. I think when FCP 5.1.2 was released it only took Focus a week or so to release their update to support 720P24 and 720P25 QT HDV. Tim Dashwood March 15th, 2007, 11:40 AM Thanks Tim, So what doI do with 720p footage, which I will shoot on the next film? DO I need to use lumiere? Your 720P24 footage will convert perfectly to QT HDV within the DR-HD100 for use in a native HDV 720P24 sequence. You can record 720P60 to m2t and then use the method described here (http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=83228&highlight=slow+motion+running) to convert to an intermediate codec or uncompressed. |
