View Full Version : Still Frame from FCP Jeff Haessler March 15th, 2007, 12:27 PM How can I export a still image of video from FCP? Martin Pauly March 15th, 2007, 12:54 PM Jeff, this is described in detail in the FCP User Manual: Please review Volume IV, Part III (Output), 20: "Exporting Still Images and Image Sequences". - Martin Glenn Davidson March 15th, 2007, 07:50 PM Liam Hall answered my same query: Mark 'I' and 'O' on the frame you wish to save. Click: File>Export>Using Quicktime Conversion. On the format tab (where it says quicktime movie) select still image from the drop down menu. You can export as a JPeg or PNG. You can then whack that file into Preview or a photo editor of your choice and convert it to a file tiff or whatever. JPeg will be fine for a DVD B/G. I did not have to mark I and O. Just exported the timeline selection |
